LightenUp! makes it easy for you to make an informed decision about food. In addition, LightenUp! helps forecast how long it will take to reach a weight goal based on individual weight status, calories burned, and calorie consumed.

You manage your eating habits with LightenUp! by following some simple steps:
1. Input your weight, age, and gender in the SetUp view.
2. Define a "My List" by building your own personal food list or with suggestions.
3. Use “My List”, by selecting listed items creating a cumulative total of "Calories Consumed”.
4. Generate a weight Forecast, by calculating your BMR, BMI, and applying Workout parameters.

LightenUp! is designed to be self-teaching. As you try each view pick the “info” button to learn its usage. Pop-up alert messages are provided to guide you. LightenUp! only uses local device storage to manage its content. If content is not being updated as expected, be sure to use "+" to store "My List", or try the red ‘Reset’ button in the “SetUp” view to refresh app’s local storage to a default state.

IMPORTANT...LightenUp! DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE! The results provided are estimates based on commonly known formulas. As always, check with your physician, nutritionist or a certified personal trainer if you are trying to lose weight and have specific medical questions. We hope you find the estimated results provided useful!
